Dr. Myles Monroe is in Heaven and tells us "Don"t be afraid of death"

This is a second teaching that Dr. Myles Monroe did on the subject of death. Killed in a plane crash a little more than a week ago, he and his wife Ruth entered heaven together, probably holding hands like they did so often. I can only think of the absolute joy those two are experiencing now.

We cry at funerals for ourselves and how we perceive the death of someone we love. We cry because we know how much we will miss them. Funny isn’t it that we cry while whoever died as a Christian is dancing around Heaven in sheer delight? If you are a Christian, you will be seeing that loved one again sooner than you think. Then you’ll both be dancing around Heaven together in the joy of your salvation.

I fully admit to a grieving process I have gone through this week after learning of the loss of a man I consider to be one of the most important men on our planet. I loved him. Dr. Myles Munroe opened his mouth and biblical wisdom came forward. Each of the 69 books Myles wrote have transformed multitudes of lives and will keep on doing that as long as books are read.

As humans who haven’t yet experienced what Dr. Monroe describes in this video, we try to figure out why God took this godly man and his wife so soon. Myles was only 60. But Isaiah tells us “God’s ways are not our ways.” God knows why Myles and Ruth’s time was up here on planet Earth. This tiny planet is all that we know. But God has adventures ahead for these two that will be so much more exciting and moment by moment fulfilling then anything they knew here in spite of how wonderful it was. No more alarm clocks is just one of the gadzillions of blessings that Jesus Christ purchased for them with His blood on the cross! Now the Monroe’s are discovering what “Amazing Grace” is all about.

Only those who don’t know Christ should be afraid of death.-Ray (0)
