Election Day: Vote For The Future Of America

http://reachmorenow.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/election-day-vote-for-the-future.jpg

This is election day 2014 and people are heading for the polls all across America to determine whether Democrats or Republicans will be governmentally in charge of the United States at the very least for the the next two years of major decision-making that will affect you, your children. your family, your neighbors, your church, your city, your state, and your country.

Hello America. Hello world.

From the headquarters of reachmorenow.com in Fort Worth, Texas, this is Ray Mossholder and this is the news.

The national voter turnout is expected to be far larger than in most other midterm election years because so much is at stake. Already a record number of absentee ballots have flooded election headquarters all across our land. The election day saying is “If you don’t vote at all, you won’t count at all.”

President Obama has made it clear that a vote for a Democrat candidate is a vote for Obama’s policies to continue and expand, putting such things as amnesty; the military; the Keystone pipeline and jobs; healthcare; religious rights; how the United States will deal with stopping or destroying ISAL and the other terrorist organizations; the wars in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan; whether Iran is allowed to continue development of its nuclear power; America’s relationship with Israel; the strong possibility of appointing one or even two either liberal or more conservative Supreme Court justices as well as federal judges in America who will make decisions for our nation for decades. The results of this election will keep the economy in the hands of President Obama and the Democrat Party or give the Republicans the power to control federal spending.

If the Republican candidates can gain control of the Senate and keep control of the House they will no longer have to be “the do-nothing party,” where so many of their bills have not even been allowed on the Senate floor because they have been squashed by Nevada Democrat Senate Majority Whip Harry Reed.

On the other hand, if the Republicans lose tonight, it is clear that it will be many to years from now before they will be able to strongly rise to power again.

Although each vote is vital in every state to determine the winners in each state, there are eight battleground states that most likely will most affect what is going to happen to the Senate and in the Oval Office for the next two years. These states are locked in such close contests that they are within three percentage points of each other: Alaska, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Hampshire and North Carolina. With Independents and Libertarians also running on several state ballots there is the real possibility that some of these elections will be run again by the top two contenders if neither candidate wins at least 50% of the vote. Those runoffs would occur in December or January.

There are also a number of tight governors races taking place today. The tightest seven of them all are in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Polls show that the Republicans have a slight edge in winning the Senate while keeping the House. Of course, polls can be wrong, very wrong. Today voters in all states will decide who will represent them in Congress and decide who will be governor in 36 states. Be sure to make your will known by voting unless you’ve already sent in your ballot. Your vote will matter.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

How can the government know what Americans want

if Americans don’t tell them what they want?

That’s what voting is for.

Scotland has voted and here"s their final answer - Ray

The vote that has been dividing Scotland was taken today and the final result is in. It wasn’t nearly as close as all polls indicated right up to the ballot box. This is a breaking story because as I’m posting it, the vote was only counted an hour ago.

Hello America. Hello world.

From the headquarters of reachmorenow.com in Fort Worth, Texas, this is Ray Mossholder and this is a very special report: SCOTLAND HAS VOTED AND THE RESULT IS FINAL.

Scotland voted today and their answer when all votes were tallied was “God save the Queen!” Scotland’s more than three hundred years as a monarchy will continue and England can finally sleep well tonight – especially Prime Minister David Cameron and Queen Elizabeth II – whose very leadership would have been extremely threatened if the vote had turned out nay.

All the major polls taken prior to the vote were wrong, quite wrong. They showed up 50-50 tie going into the voting booths today. But it wasn’t that close at all. The final vote was 55% to follow the Queens carriage and only 45% wanted to cut the umbilical cord from mother England and do their own thing.

The vote has ended, but the shattered relationships between the Scots won’t heal quickly as brother bitterly argued with brother about how this vote should end. A verbal Civil War grew more and more intense in the Highlands and lowlands of Scotland that grew more and more intense. That will be difficult to end.

Pride is an awful thing when one feels there is egg on their face. A frustrated embarrassment that can easily turn to anger will exist today in nearly half of the Scottish people because the majority of Scott’s said they don’t want to be all alone with them. While so many believed their independence from England was every bit equal to freedom, the majority of voting Scots answered we love our Queen.

David Cameron knew that the stakes in Scotland’s vote today were frighteningly high. If that vote had gone the other way, England would have instantly lost one third of its land mass, their place in the EU, Cameron’s role as Prime Minister and his Labour Party’s role, and any further sign of financial stability in England would have all but disappeared. America would have been greatly affected by a no vote too, since England is one of us to greatest allies, and the the effect of all these things together would have sent huge ripples throughout the rest of the entire world.

For all this year and more, the often asked question “What do those Scottish men wear under their kilts?” was replaced by “How will the Scottish vote regarding their place in the world?” Now we know the answer so now we can wonder again about those kilts.

SCOTLAND VOTES WHILE ENGLAND HOLDS ITS BREATH

WORLDWIDE NEWS FROM RAY

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Hello America. Hello world.

From the headquarters of reachmorenow.com in Fort Worth, Texas, this is Ray Mossholder and this is a special report: SCOTLAND VOTES WHILE ENGLAND HOLDS IT’S BREATH

One of President Barack Obama’s very closest friends may be losing his job sometime shortly after tomorrow if Scotland votes itself independence from the Queen. Knowing that, his friend Prime Minister David Cameron, greatly humbled himself today before the Scots in Aberdeen, and while fighting off tears he begged the Scots to stay loyal to what has been until now their mother country

Mister Cameron said “Don’t think that you’re frustrated with politics right now, so you’ll walk out the door and never come back. If you don’t like me, I won’t be here forever. If you don’t like this government, it won’t last forever. But if you leave the UK, that will be forever.”

President Obama made a call from the White House to also urge the nation of Scotland to remain part of a united Britain. He said he wanted the UK to remain “strong, robust, united, and an effective partner.”

There have been few times in history that the relationship between England and America so desperately needs to remain strong . Cameron has awakened only very recently to the dangers of radical Islam and has pledged to unite with America in wiping out ISIL. All that would almost certainly change in a heartbeat if England came under a new administration. With Cameron toppled from office, England would be far more vulnerable to the terrorist threats.

Cameron also said to the people of Aberdeen “For the people of Scotland to walk away now would be like painstakingly building a home and then walking out the door and throwing away the keys. Head and heart and soul, we want you to stay. To warn of the consequences is not to scare-monger. It is like warning a friend about a decision they might take that will affect the rest of their lives, and the lives of their children.

I say all this because I don’t want the people of Scotland to be sold the dream that disappears. So as you reach your final decision , please, please, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t be a proud Scot and a proud Brit. For me it’s simple. You don’t get the change you want by ripping your country apart. You don’t get change you want by undermining your economy and damaging your businesses and diminishing your place in the world.”

Right now, Scotland is a country divided against itself. The vote in every poll shows that it will be “too close to call.” The future of nations hangs in the balance. Pray for the Scottish people to have God’s wisdom as they vote.

Ray Mossholder
